29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. At the residential worksite located at 27430 E Oak View Drive, Lake Lotawana, Missouri: Employees were exposed to fall hazards when working at heights greater than 6 feet. 1. Employees on the north side of the structure, installing trusses, did not utilize a fall protection system. 2. Employees on the south side of the structure, wrapping foam on the structure, did not utilize a fall protection system when standing on a work platform.
