29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets: a. 2 Pitts Court, Middletown NJ: Company employee not wearing hard hats/head protection, was exposed to struck by hazard when working beneath and around fireplace chimney performing masonry work, and other related activities. Employee was stuck in the head requiring medical attention. Reported on or about 01/19/2023. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
