29 CFR 1926.651(j)(2):Protection was not provided by placing and keeping excavated or other materials or equipment at least 2 feet (.61m) from the edge of excavations, or by the use of retaining devices that were sufficient to prevent materials or equipment from falling or rolling into excavations, or by a combination of both if necessary: a) Worksite was located at 12 Knight Drive, Jackson, NJ 08527 Contractor's employees were exposed to struck by and caught in hazards as they were installing new pipe for sewer tie ins on a new single family home in a trench that was greater than five feet deep with spoils set on the top leading edge of the sidewall with no set backs. Violation occurred on or about August 8 and August 9, 2022.

Violation occurred on or about August 8, 2022.
