ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED

29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): Point(s) of operation of machinery were not guarded to prevent employee(s) from having any part of their body in the danger zone(s) during operating cycle(s): a) On or about 01/20/2023 in the metal cutting area; where the point of operation guarding on the A. DIAS RAMOS shear (Model GHO-1337, Serial Number 1212/3697) had openings ranging from 1 1/2 to 3 1/2 inches which were just one inch from the machine hold downs and 4 inches from the point of operation. (Table O-10 may be used for determining the distance from guards to point of operation hazards). ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED
