29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: On or about 1/11/2023, and at times prior to and thereafter, employees performing various tasks, on the Hurdle Portable Automatic Sawmill SN 1328, were exposed to amputation, and struck by because procedures were not developed, documented, and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities including but not limited to the following: (a) Saw blade: Employees who sharpen the saw blade are exposed to amputation hazards. (b) Log turner: Employees who repair the chain are exposed to struck by and amputation hazards.
