29 CFR 1926.755(b)(1):Anchor rods (anchor bolts) shall not be repaired, replaced or field-modified without the approval of the project structural engineer of record. Worksite: On or about January 20, 2023, the employer did not ensure that all steel beam support columns were installed to prevent tip over or collapse in that the column erection plan was changed by the employer without notice or approval to the engineer of record. An employee sustained severe injuries after a column tipped and crashed through the floor he was working from.
