29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: On or about 2/01/2023, at 251 State Road 939, Sugarloaf Key, Florida, an employee was exposed to a fall hazard estimated to be 20 to 30 feet fall from ground level when installing plumbing manifolds on 2nd floor of a commercial building in construction without using any means of fall protection.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee who was exposed to fall hazards that enabled each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards. On or about 02/01/2023, at 251 State Road 939, Sugarloaf Key, Florida, employees were exposed to a 20 to 30 feet fall from ground level while receiving washers and dryers on the 2nd and 3rd balconies from an SkyTrak telehandler, due to not being provided training in fall protection.
