29 CFR 1910.132(f)(1)(v): Employee(s) required to use PPE by this section were not trained to know the proper care, maintenance, useful life, and disposal of the PPE: Building 3735, Outbound Shipping Area: On or before January 25, 2023, employees utilized saws and/or nail guns to conduct crate building and repairing tasks, and donned Bilsom earmuff(s) with earplugs. The employer did not ensure the earmuffs were properly maintained to include replacement. Employees were potentially exposed to hearing loss.
