29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  Worksite: On or about January 27, 2023, the employer did not ensure that employees working on a third-floor level of a building under construction, up to approximately 30 feet 8 inches from the ground were protected by fall hazards by the use of safety nets, personal fall arrest systems or properly constructed guard rail systems: a) The employees were exposed to a fall of approximately 30ft 8in when working at the front of the building. b) The employees were exposed to a fall of approximately 21ft when working at the rear of the building.
