29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, located and identified so that they were readily accessible without subjecting the employees to injuries On or about January 31, 2023, at the main gate, two portable fire extinguishers were not mounted as follows: a) A fully-charged Class ABC 5-lbs fire extinguisher was located on the concrete window sill. b) A fully-charged Class ABC 10-lbs fire extinguisher was located at floor level next to the Hisense mini fridge and small round metal table. NOTE: Certification of abatement is not required for this citation item as abatement was documented by the compliance safety and health officer within 24 hours of the inspection.

NOTE: Certification of abatement is not required for this citation item as abatement was documented by the compliance safety and health officer within 24 hours of the inspection.
