Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  a) On or about 01/31/2023, at the RM Landscaping facility, on the parcel of land located at 1921 Brighton-Henrietta Town Line Road, in Rochester, New York,  the employer did not enforce the use of fall protection during roofing work of a newly constructed building.  Employees were allowed install metal roofing  24 feet above lower levels without fall protection exposing them to fall hazards.   NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
