29 CFR 1910.178(q)(7): Industrial trucks were not examined before being placed in service: a) Columbus Distributing Company dba Delmar Distributing Company located at 6829 Waldo-Delaware Rd. Waldo, OH 43356: On or about January 26, 2023, the employer did not ensure powered industrial trucks were inspected at least daily prior to operating them. Employees operating the lift trucks over multiple shifts without the benefit of daily inspections of the powered industrial vehicles (PIVs) were exposed to struck by, caught in, and crushing hazards.
