29 CFR  1910.1200(e)(1): Employer had not developed or implemented a written hazard communication program included the requirements outlined in 29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1)(i) and (e)(1)(ii):   Residential construction located on Lot-23 at Hellen Valley Road, Hellen Valley Subdivision, Braselton, GA  30517, Ground level: On or about 01/20/2023, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to chemical hazards in that safety data sheets (SDS) were not provided to employees and/or were not located on the job site for employees engaging in plumbing activities. The chemicals located on the job site were Purple Primer and Oatley PVC Heavy Duty Clear Cement. Chemical hazards for these substances include, but are not limited to, acute oral toxicity, carcinogenic, eye damage and/or irritation, skin corrosion and/or irritation, and flammable vapors. CSHO observed conditions on or about 01/20/2023.

29 CFR  1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: (Construction Reference: 1926.59)  Residential construction located on Lot-23 at Hellen Valley Road, Hellen Valley Subdivision, Braselton, GA  30517, Ground level: On or about 01/20/2023, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to chemical hazards in that effective training on chemical hazards were not provided to employees engaging in plumbing activities.
