29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) New commercial pavilion structure located at 884 Dorsey Street, Gainesville, GA 30501, Roofing level: On or about 1/31/2023, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 9-feet, 7-inches to the lower ground level, in that the employer did not ensure that a secured connection was made by employees engaged in roofing activities on a 6 in 12 pitched roof.
