29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. Location: a) On the third floor of the jobsite: On or about February 2, 2023, employees were installing floorboards while walking and working on top of the floor joist. The employees were exposed falling up to approximately 10 feet to a lower level and was not protected from falling by the use of guardrails, safety nets, or personal fall arrest systems.
