29 CFR 1910.151(c) :Where the eyes or body of any person may be exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body shall be provided within the work area for immediate emergency use. [63 FR 33450, June 18, 1998] a) On or about February 7, 2023, the employer did not provide suitable eye wash stations in that several 4 ounce sterile eye wash bottles, located near the first aid kits, were not adequate for the 15 minutes of continuous water for eye flushing if an employee comes into contact with corrosive chemicals, such as but not limited to the Clorox Bleach (corrosive) used at the facility.
