Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment that was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed in the hazard of being struck by fragments of Thermoplastic Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) plastic pipe in the event that the PVC plastic pipe rupture: a) In the service shop area at 10535 State Road 52, Hudson, FL 34669, as observed on or about 2/7/2023, PVC piping ran overhead was used in exposed above ground locations to transport compressed air. The compressed air being conveyed was pressures of approximately 160 psi.
