29 CFR 1910.178(o)(1): The employer did not ensure that only stable or safely arranged loads were handled: Warehouse: On or about February 7, 2023, stacked bales of Rayon were not safely moved onto single pallets when preparing for shipment. An individual 660 pound bale of Rayon was dropped onto a plastic pallet exposing the employees assisting with the operation, to a potential foot crushing hazard from the close proximity of the dropped bale and a laceration hazard from flying shards of plastic pallet that at times broke when the bale was being dropped.
