29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury: a. On the roof of a temporary residential worksite, at 11800 Lem Turner Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32218: On or about February 6, 2023, the employer exposed three employees to eye injury hazards caused by airborne debris and flying objects, in that eye protection were not utilized by the employees, while using pneumatic nail guns sheath the roof. Daem Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1350370, citation number 01, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on November 20, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 216 Anacapa Ct, Units No 42,44,46 and 48, Saint Augustine, Florida 32084.

On a 12:12 pitched roof of a temporary residential worksite, at 11800 Lem Turne Road, in Jacksonville, Florida 32218: On or about February 6, 2023, the employer exposed three employees to fall hazards ranging from 15 to 28 feet 3-inches, in that fall protection was not utilized by employees while sheathing the roof. Daem Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1350370, citation number 02, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on November 18, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 216 Anacapa Ct, Units 42,44,46 and 48, Saint Augustine, Florida 32084.
