29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(4):Ladder(s) were used for purposes other than the purpose for which they were designed: On or about February 8, 2023 at the job site located at 5036 Neptune Oval, Solon Ohio 44139; during the installation of windows and doors, the employer did not ensure that employees utilized self supported ladders for the purpose for which they were designed. Employees utilized multiple ladders collapsed on to itself and leaned against a wall to gain access to elevated heights to install windows and doors. The owner/foreman was on site and utilizing the collapsed self-supported ladder to gain access to the elevated working height.
