Exterior surfaces of the band saw cut off machine, the resaw machine, areas around the saws, and the walls of the saw garage were covered with an adequate layer of wood dust  to facilitate ignition when sparks are created as a result of metal on metal contact that occurs when the saws cut through metal such as nails and staples.
