29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that was 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level was protected from falling by one or more of the following: Guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: (a) Concrete plant, located at 762 Shire Parkway, Social Circle, GA 30025, Silo plant: On or about February 9, 2023, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 15-feet to the lower ground level, in that a fall protection system was not provided to employees performing maintenance work on the ductwork located below the silo.
