29 CFR 1926.701(b): All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and/or into which employees could fall, was not guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement: a. 147 Columbia Turnpike, Florham Park, NJ The employer did not ensure that reinforcing steel (rebar) was protected with caps. Employees engaged in concrete masonry activities working at or near the elevator shaft were exposed to uncapped rebar used as the stanchions for the guardrails. Violation observed on or about February 14, 2023
