On or about 2/10/2023, an overhead electrical cord used for the press lamp lacked strain relief and rested on a sharp edge.    c) At the establishment, 51 Victor Heights Parkway, Victor, NY. - Press Room. On or about 2/10/2023, employee(s) were operating the Servo feed for the Komatsu Press, Asset No.8, which had a damaged cord with live parts. The employer did not ensure the equipment was free from electrical hazards.

On or about 2/14/2023, employees perform set-up of the mechanical power presses daily without a procedure clearly outlining the steps to be followed to control hazardous energy including, but not limited to electric and pneumatic.   Charles A. Rogers Enterprises, Inc. DBA CAR Engineering & Manufacturing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR  1910.147(c)(4)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1450549, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 3/5/2020, with respect to a workplace located at 51 Victor Heights Parkway, Victor, NY.
