This exposed employees to a fire hazard. 1. Laundry room exit blocked by cart loaded with laundry. 2. North exit on north outer wall of production section blocked with a forklift being charged.

29 CFR  1910.176(b): Storage was not secure. Storage of material shall not create a hazard. Bags, containers, bundles, etc., stored in tiers shall be stacked, blocked, interlocked and limited in height so that they are stable and secure against sliding or collapse.  On or about February 16, 2023, employees loading, unloading, and working around industrial steel storage racks with the use of powered industrial trucks were not protected from struck by hazards where the employer did not properly anchor steel storage racks to the floor, remove damaged storage racks from service, and provide a storage rack design professional to evaluate damaged storage rack components.
