29 CFR 1910.29(b)(2)(i): The employer did not ensure that guardrails met the requirement that mid-rails that are installed at a height midway between the top edge of the guardrail system and the walking-working surface. Platform, outside of picking room: On or about February 14, 2023, a section of railing was missing a mid-rail creating a 38" wide by 42" tall opening where there was a 23" drop to a moving conveyor belt below. The conveyor belt deposited trash and debris onto the tipping floor with a drop of over 10 feet.
