29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a-12 Van Riper Road, Montvale NJ 07676: Employees engaged in sheathing activities positioned on an unprotected framed edge were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 18 ft to the ground below in which a means of fall protection had not been utilized. Condition observed on or about 02/16/2023 Blue Waters Framing, LLC was previously cited for serious violations of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 1513543, Citation # 1, Item # 1, issued on 04/16/2021 with respect to a workplace located at 50 Arlington Ave, Bloomfield NJ 07003. This citation became a final order on 05/11/2021.
