29 CFR  1926.1053(b)(4):Ladders were used for purposes other than the purposes for which they were designed:  (a) Neal Communities, Grand Park at 10052 Canaveral Circle Sarasota, FL - On or about February 14, 2023,  the employer exposed employees to fall hazards, in that employees were using a folded eight foot "A" frame portable step ladder that was leaning against a wall and being braced by another employee for access and egress to a concrete block wall for truss installation process.

29 CFR  1926.1053(b)(13):The top or top step of a stepladder was used as a step:  (a) Neal Communities, Grand Park at 10052 Canaveral Circle Sarasota, FL - On or about February 14, 2023,  the employer exposed employees to fall hazards, in that employees were using for access and egress to a concrete block wall for truss installation the top of a folded eight foot "A" frame portable step ladder that was leaning against a wall and being braced by another employee.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13):Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m)  or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b), nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502:   (a) Neal Communities, Grand Park at 10052 Canaveral Circle Sarasota, FL - On or about February 14, 2023,  the employer exposed employees to fall hazards, in that fall protection was not utilized by employees while performing truss installation.     The Calistre Contracting Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1621248, citation number 1, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on 02/13/2023, with respect to a workplace located at 2322-2350 Audubon Preserve Lane Lutz, Florida 33558.
