29 CFR 1910.27(b)(1)(i): 29 CFR 1910.27(b)(1)(i): The building owner did not, in writing, before any rope descent system is used, inform the employer that the building owner has identified, tested, certified, and maintained each anchorage so it is capable of supporting at least 5,000 pounds (2,268 kg), in any direction, for each employee attached. The building owner did not ensure that the information is based on an annual inspection by a qualified person and certification of each anchorage by a qualified person, as necessary, and at least every 10 years. On or about 10/25/2022 at the jobsite located at 1 North Breakers Row, PALM BEACH, FL 33480, the building owner did not ensure and provide written documentation to a contractor, J & B Cleaning Alliance, Inc., that their anchorages had been tested, certified, and inspected on the Surf building.
