29 CFR 1926.850(a): Evidence in writing was not available that an engineering survey performed by a competent person had been performed prior to permitting employee(s) to start demolition operations: On or about January 19, 2023, and at times prior thereto, the employer did not have a current engineering survey performed, documented and available prior to permitting employees to conduct demolition operations by removing and replacing stones from the gable of a building structure exposing employees to struck and collapse hazards. The gable shifted causing it to collapse striking two employees working from a man-lift.
