29 CFR  1910.134(c)(1): A written respiratory protection program that included the provisions in 29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1)(i) - (ix) with worksite specific procedures was not established and implemented for required respirator use:  a) 5230 Holiday Avenue, Billings, MT: On or about February 22, 2023, and at times prior, employees were exposed to chemical hazards while being required to wear a half mask elastomeric respirator to performing paint spraying and sanding operations. The employer failed to ensure that procedures were developed to select the correct respirator for the task being performed.   b) a) 5230 Holiday Avenue, Billings, MT: On or about February 22, 2023, and at times prior, employees were exposed to chemical hazards while being required to wear a half mask elastomeric respirator to performing paint spraying and sanding operations. The employer failed to ensure that medical evaluations were conducted prior to allowing employees to wear tight fitting respirators.   c) 5230 Holiday Avenue, Billings, MT: On or about February 22, 2023, and at times prior, employees were exposed to chemical hazards while being required to wear a half mask elastomeric respirator to performing paint spraying and sanding operations. The employer failed to ensure fit testing had been completed prior to allowing employees to perform work wearing tight fitting respirators.   d) 5230 Holiday Avenue, Billings, MT: On or about February 22, 2023, and at times prior, employees were exposed to chemical hazards while being required to wear a half mask elastomeric respirator to performing paint spraying and sanding operations. The employer failed to inform employees regarding potential hazards they would encounter when performing tasks that would require respirator use.   e) 5230 Holiday Avenue, Billings, MT: On or about February 22, 2023, and at times prior, employees were exposed to chemical hazards while being required to wear a half mask elastomeric respirator to performing paint spraying and sanding operations. The employer failed to train employees on the proper use, maintenance and limitations of the respirators they would be using.
