29 CFR 1910.243(c)(1): Abrasive wheel(s) were used on portable grinder(s) which were not provided with safety guard(s) meeting the requirements specified in 29 CFR 1910.243(c)(1) through (c)(4)(a) a) At the jobsite located at 2902 E Sligh Ave Tampa FL 33610 - On or about 02/23/23, the employer exposed employees to amputation hazards, in that a DeWalt Handheld Grinder was being used without guarding attached to the unit, while performing grinding activities, such as but not limited to, polishing, cleaning and smoothing rough areas of sheet metal products.
