OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: a) Job site, 100 Badger Drive, Zelionople, PA: On or about February 21, 2023, during welding operations, the employer did not ensure that that a part weighing approximately 1200 lbs. was properly secured to the "Big Positioning" table, an Aronson HD 240 unit, when it was rotated to a near 90 degree angle, resulting in the part falling off the table and causing significant injuries to an employee, such as a partial leg amputation.
