29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1):Each employee on a scaffold more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above a lower level shall be protected from falling to that lower level. a) Batak Construction Painting & Decorating, Inc. 2255 Main St., Longmont, CO : On or about February 27, 2023, employees were exposed to fall hazards associated with a scissor lift being operated at approximately 13' in elevation without having the chain midrail secured as required in 1926.451(g)(4)(iii).

29 CFR 1926.454(b): The employer did not have each employee involved in erecting, disassembling, moving, operating, repairing, maintaining, or inspecting a scaffold trained by a competent person to recognize any hazards associated with the work in question. a) Batak Construction Painting & Decorating, Inc. , 2255 Main St., Longmont, CO : On or about February 27, 2023, and at times preceding, employees were exposed to fall hazards while operating scissor lifts at approximately 13' above ground level without possessing adequate training on erecting, disassembling, moving, operating, repairing, maintaining, or inspecting a scaffold.
