29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems or a combination of warning line system and safety monitoring system: a. On a flat roof of a temporary commercial worksite, at 8330 Atlantic Blvd, in Jacksonville, Florida 32207: On or about March 1, 2023, the employer exposed ten employees to fall hazards of 10.5 feet, in that the safety monitor left the roof area and allowed the employees to continue installing a Modified Self Adhesive roof. There were no other combination of warning lines, safety net systems, guardrail system or personal fall arrest systems being used.
