29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: a) On March 1, 2023, Concise Industries, Incorporated dba O'Hare Metal Products did not provide employees with training regarding the health hazards associated with the hazardous chemicals in their work area. Employees were exposed to chemicals, including but not limited to, nickel, chromium, argon gas, nitrogen gas, aliphatic hydrocarbons and petroleum hydrocarbons, when welding on stainless, aluminum and carbon steel.
