29 CFR 1910.159(c)(10):The minimum vertical clearance of 18 inches between automatic sprinkler systems sprinklers and the material below was not maintained: Back Storage Room: On or about March 2, 2023, a fire hazard was present where there was not enough clearance between the sprinkler head and storage materials in the following areas at the facility: a. Southeast corner: Kleenex boxes were stacked to only leave 8 inches of sprinkler clearance. b. Southwest corner: Boxes were stacked to only leave 16 inches of sprinkler clearance. c. Northeast corner: Equipment was stacked to only leave 16 inches of sprinkler clearance. d. Northwest corner: Equipment was stacked to only leave 16 inches of sprinkler clearance.
