29 CFR 1926.502(b)(1):The top edge height of the top rails, or equivalent guardrail system members, was not 42 inches (1.1 m) plus or minus 3 inches (8 cm) above the walking/working level: a)Jobsite: 7145 Keystone St., Philadelphia, PA 19135 - The employer installed the top rail of the elevator shaft approximately 60 inches from the walking working level, exposing employees installing drywall in close proximity to the elevator shaft to fall hazards of approximately 40 feet to the ground. Condition noted on/about February 23, 2023

29 CFR 1926.502(b)(2)(i): Midrails, when used, shall be installed at a height midway between the top edge of the guardrail system and the walking/working level. a) Jobsite: 7145 Keystone St., Philadelphia, PA 19135 - The employer installed the mid rail of the elevator shaft approximately 19 inches from the walking working level, and not at the midway point of approximately 30 inches between the top rail and working level, exposing employees installing drywall in close proximity to the elevator shaft to fall hazards of approximately 40 feet to the ground. Condition noted on/about February 23, 2023
