On or about March 3, 2023 near the intersection of Nursery Rd & N Fwy Service Rd. in Spring, TX, employees working in an excavation were exposed to struck-by hazards when the spoils pile and equipment was less than 2 feet from the edge.

29 CFR 1926.652(b):The slopes and configurations of sloping and benching systems were not in accordance with the requirement options of 29 CFR 1926.652(b)(1), (b)(2), (b)(3), or (b)(4): On or about March 3, 2023 near the intersection of Nursery Rd & N Fwy Service Rd. in Spring, TX, employees were exposed to cave-in hazards while installing a fire hydrant in an excavation exceeding a depth of 5 feet. G J Boring & Construction Services Inc was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1550783, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on December 13, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 23206 I45 N. Spring, TX 77373.
