29 CFR 1910.23(c)(2): 29 CFR 1910.23(c)(2): The employer did not ensure that each stepladder or combination ladder used in a stepladder mode is equipped with a metal spreader or locking device that securely holds the front and back sections in an open position while the ladder is in use. On or about 3/6/23, employees of Patron Services LLC were exposed to falls due to using a step ladder that was not locked into an open position while the ladder was in use.
