29 CFR 1904.39(a)(2): The employer did not report within 24-hours a work-related incident resulting in in-patient hospitalization, amputation or the loss of an eye. 22 Bramhall Street, Portland, Maine: On or about February 17 and March 12, 2023, the employer did not report the work-related hospitalizations of employees within 24 hours: a.) On February 17, 2023, an employee fell and reported to the emergency services department. Later the same day, the supervisor for food service became aware that the employee was admitted for surgery. This hospitalization was not reported to OSHA until February 21, 2023. b.) On March 12, 2023, an employee experienced cardiac symptoms and reported this to the charge nurse who accompanied the employee to the emergency services department where he was immediately admitted to the cardiac catheter lab for treatment. The employer did not report the hospitalization to OSHA until March 15, 2023.
