29 CFR  1910.212(a)(1):  Machine guarding was not provided to protect operator(s) and other employees from hazards created by in-going nip points, rotating parts, and/or flying chips and sparks:  a) At the facility, 105-125 Washington Street, Utica,  NY  13502, Butcher's Room/Kitchen. On or about 3/21/2023, employees were using the chicken saw on a daily basis. The employer did not ensure the saw was guarded to protect the affected employees from contact with the saw at the point of operation.

On or about 3/21/2023 employees were required to operate the Hollymatic patty machine. The electrical cord lacked strain relief and had exposed live parts.
