On or about 3/6/23,:  The employer failed to provide abatement documentation for citation  1-2 identified in the inspection of this worksite.    Abatement documentation must be submitted for this item.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b).  a)  6033 Minoa Road, Kirkville, NY  13082, on the roof, on or about 3/6/23, workers were installing metal roofing material on a 5:12 pitch roof with a ground to eave height of 14 feet without fall protection.  The employer did not ensure employees were protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or by personal fall arrest systems, no were employees provided with an alternative fall protection measure.

29 CFR  1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:   a)  6033 Minoa Road, Kirkville, NY  13082, on the roof.  On or about 3/6/23, workers were installing metal roofing material on a 5:12 pitch roof with a ground to eave height of 14 feet without fall protection of any kind.  The employer did not provide a training program for each employee exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards, and without having been provided fall protection training.
