29 CFR  1910.178(a)(6): The employer did not ensure that all nameplates and markings were in place:  a) On  March 7, 2023,  the employer did not ensure the nameplates were maintained on the Big Joe Straddle Lift Truck #348.  The nameplate on the powered industrial vehicle was missing, therefore the  employees  were not aware of the safe operating capacities of the Big Joe Straddle Lift Truck  #348.  b) On March 7, 2023, the employer did not ensure all nameplates and markings were in place and maintained as required on the Big Joe Straddle Lift Truck #349 (Model PDI-2013-R5, Serial No 4658194). The manufacturing plate attached to the equipment was damaged; the section labeled "Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) type attachment" of the manufacturer plate was unreadable.  In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
