29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each powered industrial truck operator is competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely, as demonstrated by the successful completion of the training and evaluation specified in this paragraph (l): (a) Warehouse - On or about March 6, 2023, the employer did not ensure that employees who operate powered industrial trucks, including Toyota 8FGCU15 powered industrial forklift trucks were properly evaluated and certified to perform tasks in a safe manner, thereby exposing employees to struck-by hazards. Abatement certification is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
