29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: Location: roof On or about: 3/1/23 a) Employees, installing wooden roof decking on a three story 6-unit residential building , were not provided with any means of fall protection.. The employees were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 28-31 ft., to the ground below. NOTE: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the inspection casefile, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by 29 CFR 1903.19.
