Stairway (5th floor to attic).  On or about 3/14/23, workers are exposed to trip and fall hazards as they climb/descend a stairway from the 5th floor into the attic not fitted with complete handrails.      Abatement certification must be submitted for this item.

29 CFR  1910.28(b)(11)(ii):  The employer did not ensure that each flight of stairs having at least 3 treads and at least 4 risers is equipped with stair rail systems and handrails as described in 29 CFR 1910.28 Table D-2-Stairway Handrail Requirements.    a) 1629 North Salina Street, Syracuse, NY  13208.  Stairway (5th floor to attic).  On or about 3/14/23, workers are exposed to trip and fall hazards as they climb/descend a stairway from the 5th floor into the attic not fitted with complete handrails.  The handrail is incomplete to the top of the stairs on the right and no handrail on the left and the stairs are 48 inches wide.        Abatement certification must be submitted for this item.
