29 CFR  1910.28(b)(1)(i): Except as provided elsewhere in this section 29 CFR 1910.28, the employer did not ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that is 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level is protected from falling by one or more of the systems described in 29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i):    On or about March 14, 2023, employees were walking and working around unprotected edges and were not in use of fall protection.  This exposed the employees to a fall greater than four feet to the lower level below.

29 CFR  1910.107(c)(6): Electrical wiring and equipment  located in a spraying area as herein defined were not explosion-proof type approved for Class I, group D locations and did not otherwise conform to the provisions of subpart S of this part, for Class I, Division 1, Hazardous Locations:   On or about March 14, 2023, an electrical pedestal shop fan and an electrical cord were being used in the spray area.  This exposed employees to fire hazards.

29 CFR  1910.107(g)(2): All spraying areas were not kept as free from the accumulation of deposits of combustible residues as practical, with cleaning conducted daily if necessary:  On or about March 14, 2023, residue from the spray operation was allowed to accumulate on surfaces.  This exposed the employees to fire hazards.

29 CFR  1910.107(g)(3): Residue disposal. Residue scrapings and debris contaminated with residue were not immediately removed from the premises and properly disposed of in approved metal waste cans and were not properly disposed of at least once daily or at the end of each shift.    On or about March 14, 2023, in the spray area, contaminated paper towels, cardboard boxes, and other combustible products were not properly disposed of in the spray area.  The debris was piled on top of a metal barrel and this exposed the employees to fire hazards.

29 CFR  1910.134(h)(1):  Respirators were not cleaned and disinfected using the procedures in Appendix B-2 of 29 CFR 1910.134 or equivalent procedures recommended by the respirator manufacturer:  On or about March 14, 2023,  employees were in use of half-face respirators that were not cleaned and disinfected.  The respirators were covered in dust and this exposed employees to health hazards.

This exposed the employees to health hazards.
