29 CFR 1910.176(b):Secure storage. Storage of material shall not create a hazard. Bags, containers, bundles, etc., stored in tiers shall be stacked, blocked, interlocked and limited in height so that they are stable and secure against sliding or collapse. (a) Throughout the Stock Room: On or about 13/15/2023, the employer is not ensuring that materials such as, but not limited to, boxes both full of merchandise and empty, flats of soda, canned goods, other heavy grocery items and cases of cleaning supplies are stacked securely. These boxes of merchandise and flats are not stacked in a secure manner nor stored in a blocked pattern and are stacked up to excessive heights, exposing employees to struck-by hazards.
