29 CFR  1910.151(c):Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use:  a) In butcher area:   The employer did not have an eyewash for employees that are required to use Spartan "No Rinse Sanitizer" that according to Safety Data Sheets (SDS) is a corrosive with a ph. of 12-13 when cleaning and disinfecting the work area.  Conditions noted on or about 03/23/2023.   NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1,000 AS PER CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR  1910.212(a)(3)(ii):Point(s) of operation of machinery were not guarded or guards were not designed and constructed to prevent  employee(s) from having any part of their body in the danger zone(s) during operating cycle(s)  a) In butcher area:   Employer did not ensure that machinery was guarded for employees who are required to operate bandsaw #1 when cutting meat.  Guard was in the upright position exposing employees to a 12inch blade.  Condition noted on 03/23/2023.    b) In butcher area:   Employer did not ensure that machinery was guarded for employees who are required to operate bandsaw #2 when cutting meat.
