29 CFR 1910.151(c):Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: a) In butcher area: The employer did not have an eyewash for employees that are required to use Spartan "No Rinse Sanitizer" that according to Safety Data Sheets (SDS) is a corrosive with a ph. of 12-13 when cleaning and disinfecting the work area. Conditions noted on or about 03/23/2023. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1,000 AS PER CFR 1903.19.
